History Cake Pull Cards

These cards are printed with your cake pull order. Each card has the "History of Cake Pulls", and the charm/meaning that you have chosen printed on the cards.

The cake pull cards are printed on a satin-sparkly cream colored card stock with the following print: The History of Cake Pulls: Cake pulls have been a tradition for weddings that date back as far as Victorian times and were called "ribbon pulling".

A tiny charm with a ribbon attached was placed into a cake and the wedding party (single bridesmaids) would pull the ribbon and receive their fortune. Over time, the practice has evolved and is no longer limited to the wedding party. Family, friends, children and guests can be invited to retrieve the cake pulls; bride's choice. Cake pulls are still very popular in southern weddings and are sentimental in many wedding receptions. ***Just add one quantity to your cart per order***
